Sherryl  Gordon Hall is a critical thinker and effective advocate for issues of concern to the underserved New Jersey population, continuously building strong relationships while seeking common ground and motivating the broader community to engage in matters vital to its survival and growth.


Sherryl is the Chairperson and a founding member of the New Jersey Labor Advisory Board, which funds scholarships for students who attend HBCUs. She served as the Chairperson of the NJ Legislative Black Caucus Labor Committee and NJ Minority Labor Coalition and as a host to several international labor leaders and their delegations.


Gordon Hall earned a degree in Business Management from Thomas Edison University, a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Administrative Science, and a Certified Emergency Manager from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is also a State of New Jersey Certified Public Manager and a Harvard University Trade Union Program graduate. Sherryl also served on several Governor’s Committees: the Task Force on Child Abuse, the Neglect Pay Equity Commission, the Property Tax Reform Commission, the New Jersey Department of Labor Transition Committees, and the New Jersey Police and Firemen Retirement System (PFRS).
